I was born in Weyburn Saskatchewan where both my parents influenced my life through their passions. My father was the veterinarian for southeastern corner of the province plus an accomplished painter/sculptor. As for my mother, she was active within the community plus a seamstress/ crafter. So I drew/ painted/ sewed at a very early age.
Through the years I’ve dabbed in almost everything dealing with art. Because my husband is an avid fisherman, we are on the water from early spring to late fall. I find that the sea life calls to me whether it is the many different whales, dolphins, porpoises,sea otters even the sea lion. I have done silk fusion, eco printing silk scarves with a group The Mucareers, to quilting landscapes, etc.. lately If I’m not painting, I’m sculpting with paverpol. I now add teaching to my list as I’ve stated to teach this medium called Paverpol.
