Joy, Fun, Appreciation, Relaxed, Casual, Wholeness, Creativity.
All are welcome.

Courageous Community is an inclusive community with a focus on social/eco-justice, wellbeing, reconciliation, creativity & the arts.

We seek to build an intercultural community. One where all people are included and where we are transformed by each other.

We are an emerging creative community rooted in the ancient wisdom tradition known as Christian; before empire, and colonization people called to this path of Christ Consciousness were known as followers of The Way. We embrace gnostic, mystical and metaphysical understandings of Scriptures, Holy Texts & the Book of Creation; revelling in practices that embrace the sacred feminine, holy darkness, rest as resistance, decolonization, justice and animism. We acknowledge the divine manifests and continually seeks right relationship with humanity and all of creation in ways that surpass the boundaries of our imaginations.

Come and explore community, plant-based living, the arts, inter-spiritual gatherings and new ways of understanding Source with us. We seek to be the antidote to systems that harm and to live in right relationship with each other, the Land, & the Energy-that-Creates-Worlds.

Courageous Community is an 2SLGBTQAIP+ Affirming Community within the Pacific Mountain Region of the United Church of Canada.

We acknowledge that we are meeting on Land called, by many indigenous peoples, Turtle Island, on the unceded, traditional and current lands of the Tseshaht & Hupacasath. We would also like to recognize the China Creek & Bainbridge Lake watersheds, knowing the waters in these regions support all of life in the area. We are grateful for this gift.
