What does a meeting look like?
We are an emerging community and are flexible in our weekly format. Night Temple is a multi-sensory experience. Meetings usually begin with a land acknowledgement, welcome, group meditation/centering practice before we enter into a time of circle. We believe the divine exists in all.
Children are welcome.

Introducing the circle. Circle is collaborative: inspired from the Quaker tradition the circle is sacred. Night Temple seeks to engage in expectant waiting and inspired spoken word or action. You are invited to sit or stand for a time of contemplation. The silence is broken when one feels guided by the Spirit to share an insight, visual, picture, inner knowing or movement with the rest of the group. Those attending online can popcorn their inspired spoken messages or type them into the chat box.
We seek to undo the harms of patriarchy and empire.
"In the ancient Hebrew scriptures, Wisdom is referred to in the feminine form, and the Greek word for wisdom is Sophia. Wisdom literature describes Sophia as the breath of the power of the Creator, the image of the divine's goodness, a reflection of the eternal light."

We are all connected.
"I've been considering the phrase ‘all my relations’ for some time now. It's hugely important, it's our saving grace in the end. It points to the truth that we are all related, that we are all connected, that we all belong to each other. The most important word is all. Not just those who look like me, sing like me, dance like me, speak like me, pray like me or behave like me. All my relations, that means every person, just as it means every rock, mineral, blade of grass, and creature. We live because everything else does. If we were to choose collectively to live that teaching. The energy of our change of consciousness would heal each of us and heal the planet."
- Richard Wagamese
"If we cannot recognize the truth, then it cannot liberate us from untruth. To know the truth is to appropriate it, for it is not mainly reflection and theory. Truth is divine action entering our lives and creating the human action of liberation."
